Amongst the other routine work may be mentioned:-

Defective and dangerous buildings.

The dealing with and the shoring up of

dangerous buildings, including those damaged

by typhoons, the pulling down of such when

neosssary, and the adjusting of all claims

and expenses in connection with them.

Private streets.

The enforcement of repair of such streets

and the service of notices and apportiorment

of costs in connection therewith.

Building covenants in connection with Land Sales.

The keeping of the necessary records and

obtaining compliance with conditions laid

down.

Levels of District.

The preparation of the necessary trigono-

metrical surveys and the determination of the

future levels of all new roads and buildings

within the urban districts.

Konumenting the

junction of all future main roads and pre-

paring and keeping the necessary records and

enforcing compliance with the scheme laid

down.
